MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• 5+ years' experience with network cabling such as types of fiber and copper (SMF, MMF, CAT6A, coaxial)
• Familiar with basic server hardware and components (CPU, memory, storage, NICs, etc.)
• Network installation & maintenance (rack & stack, cabling, parts replacement, etc.)
  
• Hardware and Peripheral knowledge
• Ability to regularly lift equipment weighing up to 45 lbs.
• Excellent documentation skills

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• IT Laboratory Services and Administration protocols
• Voice Over IP (VOIP) configuration and coordination

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists with policies, procedures, and regulations that may affect physical security expectations
• Assists in moving and racking equipment as directed
• Conducts physical security and risk vulnerability inspections, evaluates, and provides recommendations
• Evaluates existing security procedures
• Applies appropriate security standards
• Reads and comprehends rack elevations, patching matrices, network topologies
• Maintains all security documentation/files accurately for document control, visitor control, and personnel security
  actions
• Responsible for alarms, inspections, networking, entry/exits, media custodian etc.
• Works late hours or respond to lab issues after hours
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed
