HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is currently seeking a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist, MHRS as a Program Director for a non-profit Adult Residential Transitional Unit. The MHRS will work as a Clinical and Administrative leader while promoting the philosophy of social rehabilitation. This program serves as an alternative to psychiatric inpatient treatment, allowing clients to step down to a lower level of care or back into the community after the clients successfully complete their stay.

An Associate Mental Health Therapist, AMFT, ASW, APCC or a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMFT, LCSW, LPC with MHRS certification can be considered for this role.

• MHRS, Mental Health Therapist will work FT; Mon- Fri, 40 hours per week
• MHRS, Mental Health Therapist has full responsibility for all operations of adult psychiatric transitional residential treatment program
• MHRS, Mental Health Therapist ensures compliance, policy, and procedures are in accordance with San Francisco County
• MHRS, Mental Health Therapist is the County’s Mental Health system and the Residential Facility
• MHRS, Mental Health Therapist maintains computer requirements of SF County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services
• MHRS, Mental Health Therapist schedules staff providing direct services
• MHRS, Mental Health Therapist does not carry a caseload, but should plan to do some client work while supporting the staff
• MHRS, Mental Health Therapist ensures the highest level of mental health care for those with SPMI, crisis, trauma, substance use, social/ environmental stress, homelessness, etc.

Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist, Residential Program Directors Requirements:

• MHRS certification
• Masters Degree in Mental Health field with 2 years’ experience
• Driver’s License with ability to be insured under Agencies Policy
• Culturally Competent
• Preferred ASW, AMFT, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, LPC

Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist, Residential Program Directors Compensation:

• 87,000 – 100K DEO and Licensure
