Job Description

Under general supervision of the Imaging Services Scheduling Manager, provide technical, patient care and clerical support to technologists/radiologists by scheduling procedures and transporting patients/preparing for radiographic procedures. Responsible and accountable for key activities associated with the Imaging Services scheduling systems (RIS, and EPIC). Serves as a liaison for external and internal clinical contacts. Operates a multi-line phone system andprovides excellent customer service to patients and clinical staff. Participates in cross training to obtain seamless operations within the Imaging Department. Responsible for screening patients over the phone, performing front desk and patient flow. Perform other related functions as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSThree (3) years of related experience with scheduling imaging exams/procedures or coordinating imaging exams/procedures through a multi-specialty service (e.g. Oncology or Surgery); or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Medical terminology training and/or certificate.
Excellent customer service and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work effectively and equitably in a team environment.
Must possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $54,664 - $67,944 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $26.18 - $32.54
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
