Engineering Technician 2 - 2nd shift needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific's client located in San Diego, CA.

This position will be for a major biotech company and requires someone with a bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing support or R&D laboratory setting.

Shift: Mon- Fri, 2 pm to 10:30 pm.

• Proficient with collaboration tools/environments.
• Supports troubleshooting.
• Able to plan and execute on multiple parallel activities as provided by supervisor.
• Provide support for tracking inventory of lab supplies and maintaining lab equipment as instructed by supervisor.
• Works effectively in team environment.
• Establishes relationships with immediate project team and function.
• Knows who the internal customers are and is aware of their needs and expectations.
• Communication of observations, technical findings and progress to supervisor and immediate project team.
• Acknowledge communications/instructions are understood and seeks clarification when required.

• At least two years' work experience in a manufacturing support or R&D laboratory setting, either assembling and testing instruments or machinery or diagnosing and repairing same
• Lab experience is preferred, exposure to R&D environment, strong communication and collaboration skills
