Secretariat's PhD economists and experts have been leading economic analysis and supporting court testimony in high-stakes arenas for over 40 years. Our work includes antitrust, intellectual property, and all other intersections of economics, law, and policy. We are looking for PhD candidates for graduate-level summer internships! We seek people who thrive on diving into new problems, exhibit strong analytical skills, balance the big picture with deep dives into data and details, are inquisitive and creative, and enjoy collaboration with like-minded individuals from varied backgrounds. We are open to candidates from all economics fields. Ideal candidates are expecting to graduate from a PhD program in Spring/Summer 2026.
