Essential Job Duties
- Real Estate Transactions: Facilitate university real estate transactions—Acquisitions, Dispositions, Easements, Leases, and more—across various locations.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure real estate activities align with North Carolina statutes and university policies, coordinating with legal teams and managing document preparation.
- Asset & Contract Management: Maintain inventory records, track contract obligations, and follow up on terms, escalating issues when necessary.
- Due Diligence Coordination: Work with service providers (title search, environmental, brokers) to gather due diligence materials for real estate projects.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with university departments, state agencies, and external parties (utilities, local officials) for seamless project execution.
- Field Engagement: Conduct site visits to support project progress, document organization, and information gathering.
Other Responsibilities
Minimum Experience/Education
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite for data tracking, analysis, and reporting
- An effective communicator with strong interpersonal and written skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or exposure to real estate, facilities or construction industries
- Familiarity with Project Management techniques
Required License or Certification
Valid NC Driver's License required
