This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Towne Centre Drive and remote.
This is an internal posting open only to employees within the UC San Diego Health, PHSO-IS department.
Involves the development and implementation of strategy and network development across the medical center or health system. Includes hospital and physician network development, joint ventures, outreach initiatives and clinical enterprise business development. Builds relationships with new providers and develops tactics to increase market footprint. Develops multiple methods and services to strengthen relationships and meet the needs of physicians in the marketplace. The incumbent will be expected to build relationships with affiliate providers and staff through effective support of Epic products/services and provision of high-quality Epic training that can be measured in efficacy. Functions as a lead project manager. Advises on highly sensitive or complex negotiations, strategic relationships and joint ventures. Leads operational functions related to the network.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSNine (9) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus five (5) years of related experience/training. Related experience: healthcare IT, with at least 5 years in working with Epic Community Connect affiliates.
Certified in Epic Ambulatory, MyChart and TED.
Experience Epic principal trainer
Experience and advanced knowledge of health care industry trends, with advanced knowledge of the medical center or health system's product lines and services.
- PMP and experience with Asana or other project management platforms.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $104,900 - $198,900 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $50.24 - $95.26
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
