The teaching positions are appointed on a course-by-course basis, as needed. Course may be scheduled during the day, evening or weekends, depending on student or employer demands.
Responsibilities include:
Teaching students how to safely identify, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial tools, equipment, and software.
Applicants must possess a commitment to quality instruction and student performance.
Maintain appropriate course documentation (includes: accurate apprenticeship records, course objectives, tests, lesson plans, attendance, etc.).
Recommend additional instructional supplies, ensure proper storage and security of supplies.
Maintain a clean classroom/lab area.
Available to attend the professional development, as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Instructor will share trade knowledge, experience and expertise appropriate to class level. Demonstrate a willingness to adjust or adapt delivery method of instruction as needed. Possesses knowledge, skills, and abilities of current plumbing code. Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of professional work experience.
- Completion credential from US DOL Registered Plumbing Apprenticeship
- Arkansas Journeyman or Master Plumber License or Reciprocal State Journeyman or Master Plumber license
