Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The Office of Marketing Communications is seeking a high-energy, good-natured, highly collaborative, detail-obsessed administrative professional to join the team as Office Manager. The Office Manager will manage invoices and billing for advertising and marketing activities, manage data collection and reports for media placements and rankings, do project management and scheduling, manage email sends, and assist with the creation of presentations and simple graphics.

The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working with a wide variety of people, can manage multiple projects and stay organized, can work quickly and meet deadlines, can take initiative, solve problems and deliver results without close supervision, and has excellent communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
A bachelor’s degree

Experience:
5+ years of experience in an administrative position.

Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Excel, and written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all constituents within a highly diverse university environment.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Attention to detail; can produce error-free work.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take the initiative to solve problems and deliver results without close supervision.

Additional Information:

Salary range is $64,000 – $80,000.
