Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
This position will be the primary support for the University-wide asset management program for computing and data storage devices that do not meet the cost criteria to be considered capital assets. This position will be the primary support for department level asset managers in terms of communication and in use of the asset management system and with asset policies and procedures. This position will collaborate with administrators of the management system for troubleshooting and enhancements.
This position is considered an essential position and may be required to work at the normal work location or an alternative location during a major catastrophic event, weather emergency, or other operational emergencies to help maintain continuity of University services.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.
Experience:
- Two (2) years of professional experience supporting the operations, maintenance, or administration of information technology services.
Other:
- Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.
Knowledge , Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to lead presentations with small to medium sized groups.
- Able to organize and provide direction to student staff members.
- A demonstrated commitment to customer service.
- Ability to effectively manage workload consisting of multiple overlapping projects of varying durations and deliver assignments on time.
- Skilled in the use of office productivity software such as Office 365 or Google Workspaces.

- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management platforms.
- Experience in tracking and managing IT asset inventories.

Salary range $56,000 – $65,000.
