CTI is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Modeling and Simulations Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for using advanced computer software to perform analysis on systems, products, and processes, and to predict outcomes. This role involves designing systems that use data to simulate different scenarios, reporting the results, defining issues, and offering solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with a team of analysts to research, create, model, experiment, and analyze DoD capabilities, systems, and MBSE processes.
  • Develop and implement analytical methods and simulations to facilitate analysis.
  • Utilize the Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) for simulations and analysis.
  • Participate in weekly test status and planning meetings with the US government customer.
  • Engage in technical interchange meetings with the US government customer.
  • Adapt to new priorities and multitask project responsibilities effectively.
  • Work non-standard hours and schedules as required to support project requirements.

This position is located in San Diego, California.

Requirements

Necessary Skills and Experience

  • Ten (10) years of direct work experience in collaborating with a team of analysts in the research, creation, modeling, experimentation, and analysis of DoD capabilities, systems, MBSE processes, and various DoD simulation environments.
  • Six (6) years of experience in developing analytical methods and simulations to facilitate analysis.
  • Experience with Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) is highly desired.
  • Must have an active U.S. government Top Secret security clearance and be SCI eligible.
  • Bachelor of Science in Modeling & Simulation, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Software, Systems Engineering, or IT preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
  • Ability to travel

Beneficial Skills and Experience

  • Experience with simulation tools like Distributed Interactive Simulation filter and or Tactical Data Analysis and Connectivity System
  • Organization (SISO), and other Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) distributed simulation standards.
  • Experience with Link16 and/or Command & Control (C2) communications
  • Experience in ization technologies such as Docker, Containers, CRI-O
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Rancher, and Rancher's suite of products
  • Experience in Next Generation Threat Systems (NGTS)
