Description

Responsible for maintaining automated or manual test execution suites, analyzing test results, reproducing and reporting issues, assisting in identifying and reproducing test blocking and automation blocking bugs, and interacting with cross-functional team members for performance-related tasks and deliverables. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting and debugging any issues with automation and automated tests. Develop, modify, and execute software test plans and maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software and tuning hardware. You will be running many automated tests at a time across different scenarios and different device models on a large scale, keeping careful track of all the results, schedules while proactively uncovering issues, and proposing ideas for improvement.
  • 3+ years of experience in SQE methodologies and practices
  • Excellent understanding and application of scripting language, such as Python
  • Good debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
  • Familiarity with automated test execution and maintaining automated tests
  • Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors


Preferred Qualifications

  • System level knowledge on software and hardware is preferred
  • Familiarity with command line tools and environments such as shell scripting and bash
  • Experience in continuous integration tooling (e.g. Jenkins) is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written


Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,600 and $236,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
