Recruiting Specialist, Lead

Key Role:

Lead a dispersed team responsible for full-cycle talent acquisition with a focus on hiring manager partnerships, perform hands-on sourcing, recruitment, screening, and selection of professional candidates within several regional locations, and provide oversight for possible internal mobility support. Analyze and implement staffing and recruitment plans or programs to source candidates directly and indirectly and help drive the region's talent strategy, including activities such as developing a branding approach, working with partners to build advertising campaigns, assessing the effectiveness of recruitment activities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and implementing other recruiting programs. Strategize ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events, sourcing campaigns, identify talent challenges, and work with the team to create impactful solutions proactively. Maintain responsibility for hiring contractors and manage relationships and activity with 3rd party vendors, including staffing agencies, when needed. Work with staffing coordinators and recruiters to help drive an efficient recruiting process and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly creative solutions, serve as an organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programs, as needed, and act as prime leader on large programs or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with full life cycle recruiting within and agency setting in addition to professional services or government contracting

  • 3+ years of experience with leading and managing high functioning remote recruiting teams, driving high volume demand and priority management in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with guiding and upskilling direct reports, teams, and leaders on hiring policies and processes

  • Experience with practices grounded in data insights with the ability to leverage metrics and market intelligence to present hiring trends to business leaders showing progress against goals, informing, and shaping strategies and decisions

  • Experience in collaborating with cross functional teams to include Recruiting Operations to drive best practices and policies and Candidate Attraction in support of building enhanced pipelines and attraction strategies

  • Experience with an ATS infrastructure, including Workday

  • Ability to serve as a business partner to multiple lines of business by formulating recruiting strategies, communicating the recruiting landscape, and briefing key initiatives and influencing change

  • Ability to build scalable solutions to optimize and iterate on existing processes to enable successful hiring

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to maintain productivity in an ever-changing environment with competing priorities

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including building rapport

  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
