Family Health Centers of San Diego is looking for a Research Analyst, Fund Development to provide insight and analyses of internal and external data to support donor identification and solicitation to support effective fundraising efforts. Assist the Development/Grants leadership team through targeted prospecting of potential donors.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized and high-quality prospect research and donor analysis utilizing a wide range of resources for research to include publications, online databases, community resources, existing files, and public records.
- Develop and support maintenance of a donor prospect database, assisting with donor segmentation.
- In coordination with the Sr. Director Development, develop effective donor solicitation messaging and materials using internal and external data sources.
- Provide project management support for special fundraising projects as directed by the Sr. Director Development.
- Provide information and research regarding individual donor priorities to support tailored fund development activities.
- Provide research and analytical input to support organizational proposals, programs, policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
- Bachelor's Degree related to public relations, marketing, communications, international relations, public health, or public policy required. Master's degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience working in nonprofit fund development including discovery, screening, and prioritization to inform solicitation of Individual and major donors/funder, and grant prospects.
- 1-3 years of experience with fund development, with an emphasis on prospecting new funding sources utilizing available public data.
- Experience with Constituent Resource Management (CRM) systems, such as DonorPerfect, Salesforce, Blackbaud, or similar platforms, to manage donor information and enhance fundraising strategies.
- Demonstrated experience developing correspondence, summaries, and reports;
- Significant experience in conducting targeted research, eExperience using Foundation Directory Online, and DonorSearch platforms preferred.
- Possess high degree of tact, diplomacy, sound judgment, and sensitivity in working with a wide range of populations and organizations.
- Ability and means to travel as needed in a timely manner within San Diego County, to locations that may have limited access to public transportation; proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS: Licensed for a minimum of 3 years; No more than 2 violations and/or accidents within 3 years; No vehicle related suspensions/reinstatements; No DUI, reckless or felony Driving within 7 years.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base range for this position, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.
64,480.00 - 85,973.33If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
