Summary of Position

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing and technically implementing digital marketing and communications for the UNH Graduate School and Peter T Paul College of Business and Economics. This position will have the important role of presenting the outward facing brand of these two units.

Under the supervision of the Senior Integrated Marketing Director and with a reporting line to Paul College leadership (dean and associate dean), the Digital Marketing Coordinator partners with outside vendors to implement marketing campaigns consistently and effectively across all digital platforms including paid and organic efforts.

This position is also responsible for managing the graduate school website, Paul College graduate programs web pages, and social media to ensure all platforms’ technology and content are up to date, organized, accessible, and presenting in a professional manner. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will partner with the graduate enrollment team to also assist with email marketing and data analysis.

This person must be a collaborative individual with the following skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of website management and analysis, social media best practices, pay-per-click advertising tools and paid ad. campaign management software such as Google Ads, AdRoll, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Google Analytics.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Salesforce/TargetX, Drupal, SEO, SEM
  • Strong communication (written & verbal), organizational and time management skills
  • Prior experience in higher education or a marketing agency

Duty/Responsibility

Digital Marketing Campaign Coordination and Implementation
  • Coordination of creative asset development with client, project management and/or agency
  • Creation of digital marketing plans and suggested audience targeting.
  • Evaluation of digital advertisement campaigns in a variety of platforms such as, AdRoll, Facebook, Google Ads, Instagram, LinkedIn

Duty/Responsibility

Tracking and Reporting
  • Utilize data to improve digital marketing, website, email and social media efforts and lead generation techniques
  • Develop campaign reports highlighting digital marketing efficacy
  • Monitor and track campaign budgets and spend
  • Stay up-to-date and inform fellow staff with the latest digital marketing changes and updates

Duty/Responsibility

Website Management
  • Maintain website platform upgrades, maintenance requests, content creation, and image sourcing.
  • Ensure website is ADA compliant.
  • Publish news, alumni and student stories to UNH Today.
  • Review SEO recommendations and implement changes as needed.
  • Evaluate and enhance website effectiveness with GA4.
  • Develop and optimize marketing landing pages.

Duty/Responsibility

Social Media
  • Design and write content for organic social media posts
  • Manage content calendar and collaborate across campus to incorporate posts promoting all colleges conferring graduate programs
  • Review and evaluate social channel metrics in effort to build outreach and increase engagement through creative, timely and implementation of current social media trends.
  • Stay abreast of trends in social media and higher education brand marketing

Duty/Responsibility

Email
  • Work with academic marketing directors to develop program specific email content that fits within graduate school email framework
  • Update email templates with content (copy/photo) changes
  • Assist graduate and Paul College enrollment teams with email reports, evaluation and campaign testing.
