SFCC provides a high-quality, geographically, financially and emotionally accessible education to more than 5,000 students who range from traditional college-age students to adult learners.
The college offers associate of arts, associate of fine arts, associate of science and associate of applied science degrees, professional and skills certificates, and noncredit courses and programs, and workforce development training in a 14-county area in central Missouri with locations in Sedalia, Boonville, Clinton, Eldon, Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City, Warsaw, at Whiteman Air Force Base, and online.
Position Purpose: The Director of Extended Campus is a senior level position with responsibilities to perform management duties for the Extended Campus Site. Under limited direction, plans, directs, and coordinates administrative activities for all faculty, students and staff at the extended campus site.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide leadership and management of staff.
- Operate a college campus in all aspects of student services to include: student support, business office operation, curriculum planning, personnel and human resources, physical plant and general maintenance services, and public relations.
- Create schedules of classes, faculty, and staff. Schedule contract services.
- Maintain budget and spending. Implement grant application processes.
- A willingness to take on additional responsibility and work collaboratively, both within the unit and campus wide
- Develop community partnerships to benefit the institution and community as a whole, which may include serving on outside committees or boards.
- Other duties as deemed necessary for the function of the college.

Required Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- The equivalent of a Bachelor's Degree required in education, administration, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Five years experience in education administration
Skills:
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles as well as methods for curriculum and training design, teaching, and performance evaluation.
- Ability to motivate, develop, and direct people and activities of administrative departments.
- Ability to coordinate and evaluate the activities of personnel by identifying measures of system performance and the actions needed to improve performance.
- Establish operational policies and procedures.
- Participate in faculty and college committee activities.
- Plan, administer, and control budgets, maintain financial records, and produce financial reports.
- A willingness to take on additional responsibility and work collaboratively
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Work involves sedentary to light work in an office setting.
- There is frequent sitting, with walking, standing and stooping occasionally required.
- There is an occasional need to lift objects (up to 10 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday.

Coverage is effective the first day of the month after beginning employment. For example, if you start on Feb. 1, your benefits will start March 1. All insurance premiums are monthly payments.
Medical insurance is paid 100% for the employee.

- SFCC will contribute $113.00 monthly into your HSA plan if you elect the H.S.A. plan
Cost per month to cover family: $54.24 for Plan 1 or $64.48 for Plan 2 coverage.
2. Additional life insurance is available to purchase for employee, spouse, and eligible children. Rate quotes are specific to age.
3. The cost for the basic additional life insurance plan is $1.58 per month for $10,000 spouse coverage and $2,500 dependent child coverage. This is a total monthly cost, regardless of the number of eligible dependents covered.

AFLAC insurance is available and is paid by the employee through payroll deduction.
Medical, dental and vision insurance premiums can be deducted before taxes.
- 4 hours per pay period from hire date through 5 years
- 5 hours per pay period from 6 years through 15 years
- 6 hours per pay period for 16 years or more
- Cap is 160.00 hours
- 5 hours per pay period regardless of years of service
- Cap is 1040 hours
There is no waiting period for holiday, vacation, and sick time, however; the
employee must have supervisor approval prior to using sick or vacation accruals.
Central Methodist University Tuition Waiver Scholarship: CMU offers a tuition waiver scholarship for undergraduate and graduate tuition charges for FT employees each term for online and on-ground courses held on the SFCC campus.
Spouse and dependent of FT SFCC employee may have undergraduate tuition charges (but not books, fees, or supplies) waived each term while attending CMU at SFCC.
Any spouse (but not dependent) of a FT SFCC employee shall have 50 percent of the graduate tuition charges (not books, fees, or supplies) waived each term while attending CMU at SFCC or online.
Employees may purchase LegalShield, which allows the ability to talk to an attorney on any matter without worrying about the high costs associated with legal counsel. LegalShield can be purchased for $7.48 per pay period for individual and $7.88 to add dependents.
