Position title: Postdoctoral Scholar in the Glaucoma Advanced Imaging and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory

Salary range: The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at
appointment. See Table 23. The salary range for this position is $$64,480 - $77,327.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Glaucoma Advanced Imaging and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the Stein Eye Institute invites applications for a post-doctoral fellowship starting September 1st, 2024. Candidates should have a PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics, expertise in Bayesian computing and related software, spatial or longitudinal modeling, and data management. Ophthalmological experience not required. Responsibilities include leading Bayesian computing tasks, developing Bayesian longitudinal models and statistical methods, co-supervising graduate student researcher(s), and data management. The post-doctoral fellow will present at scientific meetings and write manuscripts for peer reviewed publication. A two-year commitment is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic qualifications

Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics, expertise in Bayesian computing and related software, spatial or longitudinal modeling, and data management.
