UNT Dallas is hiring a Program Manager for the Greater Texas Foundation (GTF) Scholars program. Under the leadership of the Executive Director for Student Leadership and Success, this leader will develop the programs and strategic initiatives as outlined in the GTF Grant. This position will be responsible for supervising student leaders, developing and implementing assessment measures that will aid in showing the educational outcomes of co-curricular programs and the impact that the grant-led initiatives have on the students and the institution. This position serves as part of the Student Affairs and Enrollment Management Division.
Position Overview

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field and four years of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with project management tools and their effective use in managing projects.
- Experience with online platforms and digital platforms to track work, communicate with others, promote recruitment and engagement and pull data.
- Ability to utilize MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Teams and data to set goals and perform employment responsibilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strategic relations.
- Ability to manage and expand program partnerships.
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
- Strong influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience in successfully marketing academic programs at colleges and/or universities.
- Experience in graphic design and use of digital technology to produce recruitment products and literature.
- Masters Degree in Student Access and Success, Marketing and Communication, Organizational Psychology, and/or Higher Education Administration.
- Bilingual, fluent in Spanish and English for verbal and oral communications (writing, speaking, listening, and reading)
- Proven track record with supporting evidence of supporting, garnering, or leading student recruitment efforts.
- At least 3 years of overall work experience, including two years of experience facilitating learning experiences for college age and nontraditional students of diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior level leaders including UNTD administrators, community college leaders, superintendents, central office administrators, executive directors, principals, and educational foundation and nonprofit leaders.
- Strong influencing skills marked by an ability to learn another's motivations and barriers while communicating to their emotions, character, and intellect.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize MS Excel, MS Word, MS Teams, and data to set goals and perform employment responsibilities.
- Experience using a variety of online and digital platforms to track work, communicate with others, promote recruitment and engagement, and pull data reports including, but not limited to MS Teams, Google Services, Google Classroom, Zoom, Qualtrics,
- Dynamic Forms, Apple Classroom, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Strong selfmanager who can develop and execute work plans towards ambitious goals, independently adjusting course as needed to deliver results.
- Strong judgment and decision making when stewarding an organization and building cross-organizational relationships.
- Commitment to continuous learning and demonstrated learning ability to learn and utilize new programs and technologies.
- A mature awareness of how social and cultural identities influence interpersonal situations and a demonstrated commitment to utilizing ones position to further equity in teams and for young people.
- A past record of results leading strategic initiatives that include spearheading multiorganizational or departmental efforts.

Job Duties:
- Identify and recruit students who are graduates of early college high schools with an associate degree to complete the bachelors degree.
- Serve as a lead point of contact for the UNTD GTF Grant Partnership and complete activities and projects to recruit and retain students under this grant effort.
- Set and track long and short-term recruitment goals for assigned projects and grants where directed by the GTF Principal Investigator.
- Effectively represent UNT Dallas on and connect virtually and face-to-face with local committees with community colleges, community agencies, and public schools alongside senior leaders such as university presidents and vice presidents, school superintendents, associate superintendents, executive directors, deans, program coordinators, and principals.
- Create and manage data and resources to share programs and university information with stakeholders: workforce development stakeholders, local school districts, community college systems, early college high school programs, and community based organizations.
- Help recruit, facilitate admissions, and advise prospective students and applicants on the position projects.
- Connect with student recruiters across the university and local partners, alumni ambassadors, and community organizations to build awareness of UNT Dallas degree and certificate programs.
- Consistently and effectively utilize multiple social, digital, and print media platforms to market programs, engage diverse stakeholders, build partnerships, and garner community support.
- Manage grant funded recruitment and marketing initiatives to meet goals; develop detailed reports on outcomes for UNTD and the grantors; and interface with grantors on promoting our programs and initiatives and elicit further support.
- Work across multiple university departments (enrollment management areas and UNTD Schools, as a few examples) that will inform recruitment goalsetting and progress tracking.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM, some weekends as needed for programming
