Job Description Summary
This postion is grant funded through 06/30/31.
The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Diector has responsibility for the implementation and management of the QEP along with assessment planning and updates as part of Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College’s (A-B Tech) reaffirmation of its SACSCOC accreditation. This position provides leadership in support of a comprehensive new student success coaching model while leading a team of Success Coaches.

Duties
1. Provides general oversight of the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) implementation.
2. Ensures the QEP implementation is sustained through continuous input and participation from students, faculty, staff, and administration.
3. Researches best practices and collaborates with Student and Instructional Services to develop and implement a holistic Success Coaching model to facilitate student life-cycle management.
4. Leads and coordinates QEP-related assessments at the academic department and broader College levels.
5. Provides leadership and support the Success Coaching team, in conjunction with the QEP Steering Committee Chair.
6. Ensures QEP remains in compliance with SACSCOC requirements.
7. Manages and coordinates the assessment process to include program and student learning objectives.
8. Compiles data collection and analysis, on a regular basis, related to Success Coaching effectiveness and QEP progress.
9. Provides and prepares regular progress reports (quantitative and qualitative), feedback and recommendations to the A-B Tech QEP Steering Committee, Executive Leadership Team, and the campus community.
10. Manages the QEP budget.
11. Coordinates with the Title III SIP Grant Director on activities and services.
12. Plans, initiates, and executes the delivery of professional development for academic departments.
13. Prepares and presents annual QEP status reports for the QEP Steering Committee, A-B Tech Executive Leadership Team, and other relevant constituencies.
14. Develops and executes QEP marketing and faculty outreach in partnership with the College Public Relations and Marketing.
15. Assists with the preparation of reports to SACSCOC.
16. Serves as a liaison between faculty, staff and all QEP activities.
17. Supports a cohort of students in a Success Coaching capacity as needed.
18. Contributes to the College Vision, Mission, Values, RISE statement and foundational focus areas for the College.
19. Supports workforce diversity in all its aspects.
20. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements (Applicant must meet all of the minimum requirements)
1. Master’s Degree;
2. Three year of full-time or equivalent work experience in higher education instruction, academic, or student support services;
3. Experience working with Colleague or other student information systems.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Three years of full-time or equivalent supervisory experience within a higher education setting.
2. Experience with grant funded projects, including tracking and reporting of results.
3. Experience with Early Alert intervention systems such as Waternark/AVISO.
4. Experience with SACSCOC requirements and regulations.
5. Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.

Total Compensation
Your total compensation goes beyond this maximum salary. Your A-B Tech benefits represent nearly 30% of your total compensation.

The total compensation for this position includes an 25.02% employer contribution to a defined pension plan, contributions towards medical and dental policies and fully funded life insurance / accidental death & dismemberment policy.
