Job Description:
Seeking energetic and engaging Adjunct Faculty to teach in the Pharmacy Technician program. Adjunct Faculty may teach all or part of the lecture and laboratory practice training. ability to establish a rapport with students and maintain an environment that supports learning and promotes student retention is also required. The successful candidate must be highly organized and detail oriented.
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a Master's degree is required. A minimum of one year of pharmacy work experience is required. Teaching or training experience is also required. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in life/health science and certification as a pharmacy technician with a minimum of 4 years' experience is strongly preferred. Experience teaching adult learners is also preferred.
Additional Information:
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $82.57 per hour. No benefits.
POSITION EFFECTIVE: Spring 2023
